By providing contextual education opportunities, these partners make our service-learning model possible for Immersion participants.
Appalachian Ministries Educational Resource Center
AMERC promotes contextual, cross-cultural education for theological students and other Christian leaders. Working primarily through an ecumenical consortium of partners, AMERC supports experiential learning about the theological, spiritual, social, economic and environmental aspects of Appalachian cultures.
Cooperative Christian Ministry
Providing Christian service to Middlesboro, KY since 1979, CCM’s member churches covenant together in ecumenical partnership. In service to their community, they practice Christ’s call to feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, visit the sick, and seek out those imprisoned by fear, weakness and lack of opportunity.

FBC Middlesboro partners with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Kentucky and recognizes that God calls us to be active participants in God’s Kingdom. Their ecumenical spirit has led them to partner with organizations of all denominations in order to participate in God’s transforming work in this world.
